| Marketing Information | <p>Zep Super D-Ice is a super-concentrated ice melting compound which works faster than other ice melting compounds to eliminate hazards due to the accumulation of ice and snow. It contains a special compound of heat-liberating materials, conveniently pelletized for ease in dispensing. It is completely dust free, therby eliminating one source of annoyance of use. Super D-Ice has more latent heat available than ordinary calcium chloride (37% more), which it liberates on contact. Its presence decreases the freezing point of resulting solutions. It is also effective at lower temperatures than rock salt.</p><p>SUPER D-ICE may be used on sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, hills, and loading docks; around office buildings, shopping centers, hospitals, hotels, motels, schools, and churches.</p><ul><li>Lower freezing point of -58°F compared to Rock Salt freezing point at -6°F.</li><li>Works quickly and effectively in dissolving ice and packed snow.</li><li>Does not create drainage system problems when flushed into sewers and catch basins.</li><li>Less corrosive on concrete compared to Rock Salt.</li><li>LESS CORROSIVE: Less corrosive on concrete compared to Rock Salt</li><li>LESS HARMFUL TO VEGETATION: Has less adverse effect on vegetation than Rock Salt does</li><li>SAFETY: Reduces hazards of icy sidewalks, steps, driveways, and parking lots.
